Nature-based Early Childhood Family Collaborative
Wild Roots - Nature-based Early Childhood Family Collaborative, will offer your child an opportunity for growth in development, to foster an ecological consciousness, and build healthy relationships with others including the rest of the natural world. But it’s also an opportunity for you to be part of and learn with a community keen to explore a nature-based early childhood approach.
Wild Roots is a parent cooperative. In this model families take an active role in providing this type of programming, which includes a parent (or a family member) who will act as a ‘facilitator’. These adults complete a variety of requirements to prepare them for this role. Family members who are not facilitators may also participate in the parent meetings and other learning/decision making opportunities.
Our program is located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
Our spring 2019 session is underway. Check out our photo gallery to see what we have experienced.
